This session will look at the new WIDA standards and how you can utilize the iPad to enhance learning for English Learners. We will look at ways to use the iPad itself to support engagement , learning and understanding. We will also investigate APPS and other digital resources for academic language development, as a tool for providing instructional supports and to assess learning. This is an interactive session where sharing of ideas is encouraged. Participants will leave this session not only armed with some more quality APPS they may want to explore for use in their classroom, but also with strategies for using these APPS to help ELL's achieve success with the new IAS and WIDA standards.
